Job Description:

Warehouse Officer at De Beers Group of Companies is looking for a new team member in Yellowknife, NT, Canada. You'll be part of a team that thrives on excellence and supports local communities while focusing on Building Forever.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, verify, and unload materials;
  • Organize materials for easy access;
  • Evaluate material quality;
  • Process SAP reservations;
  • Ensure safety and cleanliness in warehouse;
  • Operate warehouse equipment;
  • Comply with company policies and safety procedures;
  • Participate in industry relevant training.

This role requires five years of warehouse experience, SAP proficiency, and strong communication skills. Additionally, having certifications in barcode technology and dangerous goods handling would be an advantage.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' warehouse experience;
  • SAP and inventory management knowledge;
  • Valid Driver's license;
  • Ability to lift 50lbs;
  • High School diploma or Bachelor's degree in relevant field;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Commitment to safety standards;
  • Legally permitted to work in Canada.

Desirable Assets:

  • Experience with barcode technology;
  • Dangerous goods certification;
  • Supply Chain Logistic Professional Designation;
  • Remote mining site experience;
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Fall Protection, Forklift).

Note: Preference will be given to indigenous candidates or residents of the Northwest Territories.
