ARAMARK Remote Workplace Services in partnership with CreeQuest are currently seeking 2nd Cook workers for a remote lodge near Timmins, ON.

The 2nd Cook role involves cooking and preparing food following recipes and guidelines while ensuring food safety, handling, and sanitization procedures.

  • Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
  • Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods
  • Arranges, garnishes, and portions food following established guidelines
  • Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
  • Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including accurate food safety and sanitation
  • Ensures the security of company assets

Applicants should possess knowledge of food preparation principles, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage.

  • Must be able to obtain food safety certification
