Class 1 Driver

Company Driver Position


Reimer Soils is a family owned Winnipeg business with over 40 years of history serving the Landscaping supply needs of Winnipeg and the surrounding area.

We currently have an opening for a Class 1 driver.

The position commences this Spring with potential for immediate work - positive performance can lead to winter work and an opportunity into the future.

You are the
ambassador of the Company. We are looking for skillful, safe drivers that have a positive attitude and strong desire to get the job done.


Experience we are looking for:

- experience with tandem dump, tandem trailer, tri-axle trailer or articulated trailer (pups).
- ensure safety and preventative maintenance policies are followed.
- be organized in maintaining paperwork.
- be proactive in ensuring equipment is respected and maintained.

Skills:

Class 1 license

Transportation experience

Loader experience and gravel/soil dumping and hauling a definite asset.

Knowledge of Diesel trucks especially older model tandems, tandem trailer, triaxle, single axle, trains etc.

High energy problem solver with strong work ethic.

Minimum of 2 years driving experience. Experience as Class 1 Truck Driver, Class 1 Delivery driver with dump experience is desired.

Strong communication skills.

Safety focus.
