Bureau Veritas is seeking a

ANALYST 1 – METALS SECTION

This role is a Contract position until November 29, 2024

As an ANALYST 1, your main responsibilities include:

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ensure proper labelling of raw data.
  • Complete and file analytical records and necessary logs accurately for traceability.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the laboratory and workstations.
  • Prepare and sanitize glassware for sample analysis.
  • Operate mechanical equipment for sample size reduction.
  • Prepare samples, sub-samples, and reagents for trace metal analysis.
  • Conduct basic analyses such as operating balances and meters.
  • Maintain updated maintenance records for lab instruments.
  • Ensure samples are analyzed within specified timeframes and quality standards.
  • Provide workstation status updates to the supervisor.
  • Maintain control charts as per QA manual requirements.
  • Work in a standard laboratory environment.
  • Be available for shift work, overtime, and weekend shifts.
  • Handle any other assigned duties.

To be considered an ideal ANALYST 1, you should meet the following Minimum Requirements:

  • Technical diploma required, . preferred
  • Understanding of standard operating procedures and instrumental techniques
