Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer needs & inquiries in a timely & efficient manner.
  • Review orders daily to ensure the cargo will be loaded or has been loaded as per customer requirements and make adjustments when necessary.
  • Ensure all cargo inbound to terminals has proper Terminal Authorization prior to arrival.
  • Create accurate and detailed transloading instructions the terminals to follow.
  • Maintain harmonious working relationship with Ocean Carriers and terminals.
  • Produce all necessary reports, both internally & externally as required.
  • Perform all followups with the designated Export Traffic Coordinator on the necessary documentation requested by the customer and ensure timelines are met.
  • Maintain an accurate account & understanding of the customers contractual requirements for their orders, and escalate to the appropriate parties when assistance is needed.
  • Working cohesively with the Commercial Group on a daytoday basis.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in the Shipping Industry.
  • High school Diploma or higher.
  • Customer service experience (must).
  • Excellent typing and data entry skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Outlook and Excel.
  • Attention to detail and an attitude for a fastpaced, multitasking, and customer serviceminded environment are all required skills.
  • Must have International Experience.
