Your future role with us

As our newest Service Technician, you will be the face of Atlas Copco, delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining and servicing our equipment for end-users. Building strong relationships with our customer base will be a key aspect of your job. You'll have ample opportunities to enhance your technical skills through on-the-job experiences and training programs provided by the company.

Main responsibilities you'll handle

  • Performing maintenance and service on Atlas Copco products and other brands' equipment, advising customers on machine operations and maintenance needs, and promoting Atlas Copco service products
  • Commissioning new equipment, diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, and supporting local customers while expanding the customer base
  • Keeping abreast of product knowledge through manuals, technical resources, training programs, and representing Atlas Copco's standards during customer interactions
  • Managing administrative tasks like time sheets, work orders, service reports, and identifying new business opportunities

Keys to succeeding in this role

  • Holding a valid certification in Industrial Mechanic or possessing equivalent mechanical expertise
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English communication
  • Possessing a clean driver's abstract and a valid driver's license
  • Demonstrating self-reliance, deadline orientation, excellent customer service, and communication skills
  • Exhibiting physical stamina and readiness to work in various conditions involving travel, occasional on-call duties, and hands-on mechanical work
  • Having basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Word/Outlook
  • Prior experience in servicing compressed air equipment is a plus
