What you'll do


Reporting directly to the Manager, Physical Security & Gatehouse Operations the incumbent will develop compliance measurement and conduct process reviews assessing effectiveness of the control design and evidence of control execution of our core business, physical security programs.

This position is responsible for service delivery, process development, conducting root cause investigations and trend analysis and reporting and provide backline support to the front-line team.


  • Develop and assess controls, validate evidence of controls being performed.
  • Create and maintain processes develop and have training administered, sign off training being conducted.
  • Maintain a full understanding of Corporate Security & Loss Prevention SOP, work Instructions and procedures and be able to operate under such procedures in the absence of the Manager.
  • Act as a gatekeeper and trainer for incidents ereporting guard submissions, in support of incident tracking, reporting, trending, completeness and accuracy
  • Research and maintain working knowledge of current trends legal and relevant legislative issues that could directly impact our operations.
  • Support the development and execution of security responses to mitigate immediate potential threats that may occur during his/her duty.
  • This role will also provide ad hoc physical security services as required across the organization.
  • Ensuring the issued mobile device is on you during scheduled working hours.
  • A function of this position includes having access to a vehicle and possesses a valid driver's license as you will be required to travel between sites throughout the day. CTC does have a mileage policy and therefore you will be compensated for your fuel.

What you bring

  • Postsecondary education relatable to the role is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to work with large and diverse client groups including direct contact with Senior Management
  • Strong developed listening, decision making and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, prioritize and deliver programs and tactics on time to budget in an ambiguous, fastpaced, deadlineoriented environment.
