  • Utilizes predictive modeling for accurate risk assessment.
  • Designs and conducts complex actuarial analyses for rate determination.
  • Collaborates on pricing strategies.
  • Researches and conducts appropriate analyses to achieve corporate goals.
  • Oversees peer company analyses and deep data reviews for product line improvements.
  • Provides technical support for pricing and analytical tools within the department.
  • Collaborates with other departments to monitor market trends and innovations.
  • Mentors Actuarial Analysts as assigned.
  • Evaluates and suggests improvements for procedures and processes.
  • Assists external actuarial consultants as needed.
  • Develops expertise in insurance regulations, rating practices, and coverage issues.
  • Actively participates in professional development activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office
  • Experience working in VBA, Access, SAS, and SQL is an asset.
