The
MRO Inventory Team Lead
will be based out of Toronto, Ontario (1551 Weston Road, M6M 4Y4) and will be responsible for the management of the Toronto Storerooms daily activities including inventory management and overseeing the Stores Team.

**This is a permanent, full-time position.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a storeroom, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, kitting, delivery, and optimization of storeroom layout
  • 35 years leadership experience managing a team of 23 individuals
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, including experience working with industrial manufacturing parts and equipment
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, specifically pulp & paper industry is a plus
  • Proficiency with computer software (i.e., MS Office, JDE)
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards inventory and work order systems a plus

The main duties/responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ownership of the Maintenance Storeroom, including the processes and physical assets
  • Responsible for the physical custody and accuracy of inventory records for component items, assemblies, and/or finished goods in the storeroom
  • Managing and assigning work to the storeroom staff
  • Responsible for the proper handling, inventory, and care of all inventory items and providing support to the maintenance and operations groups
  • Operate in the EnterpriseOne system to manage storeroom transactions
  • Drive process improvements to create better efficiency in the Stores Department
  • Strict inventory controls will need to be followed to ensure proper stocking and cost savings
  • Safety KPI's with respect to the Stores department
  • Operate lifting and material handling equipment, including hand trucks, pallet trucks, and various forklifts
  • Improve efficiencies, housekeeping and uphold standards in Stores
