As an IT Asset Management Administrator, your mission is to collaborate closely with global ITAM teammates, Enterprise IT Partner teams, the ITSM team, and other asset owners to manage the life cycle of IT equipment and software.

Your Role & Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee management reporting on licensing and security compliance.
  • Administer the procurement and asset management of all IT hardware and software equipment.
  • Work with Global IT Leads to maintain supplier records and manage software license information. Provide incident status, trends, and service level performance to management.
  • Verify, track, and reconcile financial data (e.g., budget and assets leased, depreciated, disposed of, or expensed) to ensure information, process, and system quality.
  • Report and propose solutions to ensure software compliance and asset optimization (AO) for all global sites. Research and select vendors to solicit quotes for IT hardware, software, parts, and services, requiring considerable knowledge of specific materials, vendors, and market conditions.
  • Participate in projects for the implementation of a strategic IT global procurement plan and standard equipment list.
  • Take effective action to provide timely resolution of problems and communicate or escalate issues on behalf of the enduser to appropriate support personnel and vendors.
  • Participate in respective project initiatives, which may involve multiple IT/user groups.
  • Follow standard operating procedures, customer service guidelines, and documentation for new services and activities.
Job Qualifications

  • Technical Degree (DEC)/College diploma in a technology discipline and/or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 5 years of experience in an IT asset management environment.
  • Excellent reporting capabilities.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware/software, telecommunications, and networks with an understanding of ITIL processes.
  • Strong knowledge of the principles, methods, and procedures of IT asset management.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement utilities, policies, and processes.
  • Good knowledge of terminology related to computer software, hardware, and peripheral equipment.
  • Good understanding of software licensing procedures, terms, and conditions from vendors like Microsoft, Oracle, and IBM.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external customers and vendors.
  • Good communication and enduser support skills.
  • Good knowledge of maintaining corporate documentation and procedures following group standards and policies.
  • Experience with providing services based on established Service Level Agreements.
  • Good problemsolving ability.
  • May be required to work on a rotation basis to cover different time zones.
