Responsibilities:

  • Layout, fit and fabricate metal components to assemble steel structural and mono poles using knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy and engineering requirements
  • Read, analyze and interpret mechanical drawings
  • Recognize, set up an operate over head crane, hand and power tools common to the trade
  • Weld components using either FMAW or GMAW in various positions as drawing's requirements
  • Work safely in accordance with company safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • 3 years of Fitting & Welding experience
  • Proven experience as a welder/fitter in a similar industry/product
  • Ability to work to close tolerances
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
  • Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing
  • Strong math, communication and problem solving skills
  • Positive attitude and able to work in teams
  • Deftness and attention to detail
  • Able to work after hours and weekends when required

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$25.00-$30.00 per hour
