We are looking for a part time PSW/UCP or equivalent to begin immediately. Experience in a Retirement Home or Long Term Care Home setting is an asset. Also, experience as an Unregulated Care Provider with medication administration experience is an asset. Should be available for all shifts and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent.
  • Willing to work all shifts and a minimum of every other weekend.
  • Empathy and understanding of the elderly.
  • A high degree of tolerance and patience.
  • Excellent understanding and communication skills in English, both oral and written.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, walk stairs and ability to transfer residents.
  • Able to work well as a team member and with mínimal supervision.
