Essential
- Ability to take direction and follow instructions to successfully complete assigned
- Punctual, reliable, accountable.
- Team/safety focused.
- The ability to terminate DC cables and trunks into a PSU competently and safely
- Able to read and interpret work orders
- Work with fibre optic trunks cables and mange and terminate where applicable
- Knowledge of Ericsson, Nokia and Samsung baseband equipment, with an
- Able to read and understand technical and civil drawings for site installation
- UMTS, LTE and NR frequency identification and knowledge across Rogers, Telus
- Able to install telecoms hardware into a rack and run and terminate associated
- Support civil teams with installations and any technical or technology questions
- Able to use sweep, OTDR and RET test gear and use software to generate
- Experience with Outside Plant construction and end to end connectivity.
- MDU wiring/rewiring a definite asset.
- Experience of DAS in build active and passive systems
- Able to use a laptop for Microsoft office and able to configure ethernet port Ips
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean abstract
- Ericsson, Nokia and Samsung baseband commissioning experience
- Ericsson Minilink installing and commissioning experience
- Microwave testing and Microwave Knowledge
- Extensive knowledge of Rogers, Telus and Bell cell tower site and OSP solutions
- Netsure and Alpha PSU commissioning experience, other PSU knowledge is
