Each Dermatologist at VIDA will have:

  • A welltrained team of dedicated nurses and office assistants to optimize clinic workflow and patient care
  • Several exam rooms and surgical/procedural rooms to support your clinic
  • Access to light based patient technologies (phototherapy and photodynamic therapy) options
  • Ability to be involved in several ongoing dermatologic trials (affiliated with Probity Medical Research) in atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa and many more
  • Access to a full scope of cosmetic injectables, lasers and additional aesthetic treatments to support your practice
  • Well trained clinic support staff dealing with your daily scheduling, referrals, human resources and billing reconcilliation
  • Scribes for EMR charting
  • Marketing Support and Advertising

Role Overview
The primary function of the dermatologist is to provide continued, specialized care to patients with skin related concerns.

The Dermatologist's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide expert medical care for patients with skin concerns referred to the clinic
  • Perform patient history and physical exams, diagnosis and implementation of treatment plans
  • Provide consult notes to referring family physicians for new patients
  • Perform followup care for existing patients
  • Work closely with nursing team to be able to provide effective patient care
  • Utilize exceptional communication skills to build relationships with both patients and employees
  • Training and professional growth opportunities
  • Work with marketing team to build and promote social media/other media platform presence
  • Potential opportunities growth/ownership within the company

Role Qualifications

  • Current College of Physicians of Alberta (CPSA) License
  • Enjoy working in medical, surgical and/or aesthetic dermatology
  • Newer graduates welcome to apply
