Enbridge is delighted to welcome a Field Operator onto our Sarnia team You will be responsible for coordinating field operations with Edmonton Control Centre personnel in the routing of deliveries and receipts to Enbridge and Sarnia Area refinery facilities.
You will also perform required sampling and testing of crude oil to ensure that all measurement equipment is operating accurately.

#joinourteamWhat you will do:
- Measurement, testing and sampling of crude oil and Natural Gas Liquids. Performs and documents Quality Checks (QC) on all measurement instrumentation at receipt and delivery meter manifolds and at the Sarnia Terminal.
- Responsible for the creation of delivery/receipt volume ticketing in the Sarnia area and data entry into the Custody Transfer Ticketing System.
- Conducts required daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly checks on equipment and maintains computer logs.
- General housekeeping/cleaning of area building facilities and field measurement equipment.
- Responsible for inspection of Personnel Protective Equipment such as respiratory protection, gas detectors, fire extinguishers etc.
- You will be required to undergo various background screening that includes but is not limited to 5year driving record, criminal check, company sponsored medical and drug testing.
Who you are:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required with mínimal direct training and experience. Chemical Production and Power Engineering technology (CPET) education considered an asset.
- A selfstarter with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, enjoys working both independently and within a team environment.
- Valid Class G drivers' license.
- Measurement experience/training is considered an asset.
- Intermediate computer skills and outstanding attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
- 80% field environment, 20% office.
- Travel within the Sarnia area is required.
- Work requires frequent exposure to adverse weather conditions and exposure to wear protective equipment to prevent a serious or lost time injury.
- The working of overtime hours is required at times to ensure job objectives are fulfilled.
- Provide coverage for other staff on vacation, training, or other absences.
