The Finance function is responsible for providing transactional accounting services and support, treasury, financial planning, analysis, reporting, commercial finance and financial systems & change support to all business units and functions throughout Computershare across all global locations.


The Finance Change Team is responsible for managing and delivering the finance change initiatives (regulatory or as identified by finance process owners) related to finance processes, workflow, reports and systems integrations.

In addition, it will set the finance system strategy and manage change initiatives. Furthermore, supporting transitions of future acquisitions or demergers.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide portfolio-level management of financial information, project progress, resources, risks and issues, new demand, benefits, and interdependencies for those programmes/projects.
  • Drive and ensure timely and accurate reporting and management information in project areas.
  • Drive project compliance in governance, processes, standards and systems.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to Project Leads and their teams and manages the quality gating process.
  • Conduct Post Implementation Reviews and manages customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure project dependencies, issues and risks are highlighted, and actions to mitigate and manage are in place.
  • Develop, review and maintain project management methodology, standards, processes, procedures, tools and techniques.
  • Lead on reinforcing the practice of commercial risk management in delivery of projects.
  • Participate in inflight reviews and health checks of projects and makes solid recommendations for action for our Finance Business Systems function.

What will you bring to the role?


The Project Management Office Lead is responsible for managing the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure effective management of the Finance business and IT initiatives from demand through to deployment.

Establishes management capability of projects and programmes to improve governance, control and quality.


The role is to ensure PMO governance and control (planning, risks and issues, reporting, quality) processes and procedures are adhered to in the key projects and programmes.


We are looking for people with these skills:

  • Highly experienced in Project Management and Vendor Management
  • Previous experience in delivering large IT programs or projects in a global organisation
  • Experience working within large and complex programs of work
  • Expert knowledge of program planning and control techniques, managing risk and issues.
  • Experience in enabling business growth through delivering IT projects
  • Knowledge of the Company's products and services and how they contribute to business success
  • Extensive experience in one or more of the data or service industries: digital transformation, agile transformation, data simplification, operational excellence, designing/implementing target operating model.
  • Strong understanding of the project lifecycle, project management tools, and methodologies and the ability to employ those concepts in process design, system implementation and the development of deliverables.
  • Experienced in project managing large and complex programs of work
