Job Title: Drill Repair Technician

We are looking for a skilled Drill Repair Technician to join our team If you have experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair of surface production drills and heavy equipment, this opportunity is for you.

Reporting to the mechanic foreman, the Drill Repair Technician will be responsible for conducting maintenance and repair tasks at our clients' facilities in Nunavut, Ontario, or Western Canada.

Duties:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and component replacement;
  • Conduct inspections to identify issues or malfunctions;
  • Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings;
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for repairs;
  • Operate heavy machinery such as cranes, forklifts, and aerial work platforms;
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations;
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge as a drill repair technician;
  • Experience in surface production drills maintenance, service, inspection, and repairs;
  • Ability to handle heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks;
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
