Our Expectations

The ideal candidate will support store managers and teams by supervising and coordinating procedures in the Asset Protection and Operations department. They will create initiatives and workflows to reduce losses while upholding a secure work and shopping atmosphere in the assigned stores.

Your role

  • Champion company programs and become an expert in recognizing shrinkage and safety issues in stores
  • Implement asset protection & operations policies, strategies, and procedures while aligning with the Company's objectives
  • Offer feedback and guidance on asset protection and health & safety to team members
  • Evaluate store risks by ensuring safety protocols are in place; pinpoint trends in incidents to devise preventive measures
  • Safeguard customers, associates, and company assets by minimizing losses and ensuring cleanliness and safety in the work environment and stores
  • Educate associates on how to prevent shrinkage (internal theft, external theft, operational errors)
  • Collaborate with store associates and inform management about potential issues, suspicious activities, or incidents
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, and monitor asset protection and health & safety trends
  • Create and conduct training sessions on loss prevention for all store employees
  • Analyze performance indicators related to losses, expenses, and safety using available tools for the assigned stores
  • Work closely with other departments (e.g., HR, Legal, Communications) to safeguard the company's reputation
  • Offer suggestions on asset protection and health & safety to store management

The qualifications we seek

  • Experience in conducting audits / quality controls in retail
  • Auditing Skills; Federal and State Law; Inventory Control; Asset Protection; Surveillance System
  • Experience in conducting investigations in a retail setting
  • Proficiency in using physical security systems (e.g., CCTV)
  • Valid license from the Bureau de la sécurité privée (BSP Security Guarding)
  • Investigation license (an advantage)
  • College or university degree (a bonus)
  • Administrative skills; adeptness with IT tools; ability to complete forms, reports, and records
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Regular 40-hour workweek (may require additional hours based on store needs)
