Early Childhood Educator (Full-time)

Hourly Rate:
$29.91-$31.29 (including $4 hourly ECE Wage Enhancement)- and enthusiasm to inspire young minds and encourage children to reach their potential. We offer

YOUR IMPACT:

  • Supervise children and ensure equipment and physical environment is free of health and

- safety hazards.
  • Encourage independence, problem solving skills, and active learning to build selfesteem in
- an inclusive and respectful environment.
  • Demonstrate positive adult/child interaction using effective and appropriate communication

- with children.
  • Provide meaningful feedback and information to parents/families regarding their child's
- learning and development, emerging skills, interests and the purpose of activities.
  • Liaise with other agencies and individuals to support children's progress and success.

YOUR CAPABILITIES:

  • Early Childhood Education Certificate with a minimum of one years' experience working with
- families and children, including children with special needs.
  • Post Basic Specials Needs certification and experience working with children with additional
- support needs is preferred.
  • Strong written, verbal, and nonverbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience to deliver inclusive programming with a sensitivity to
- people from diverse cultural, health and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Clear, current Criminal Records Check.
