The Opportunity

  • We are looking for an experienced, hardworking, and high energy Restaurant Helper at our brandnew location at The Well.
  • You will be responsible for the supporting the Front of House (FOH) with customer orders, preparing and handing out food orders, and providing great customer service. You are also expected to help Back of House (BOH) which includes cleaning, dishwashing, minor cooking, and other tasks to support the kitchen.
  • The other responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Setting up workstations will all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
  • Preparing and executing menu items as orders are taken
  • Cleaning and sanitizing all food prep stations/areas in accordance to food safety standards and policies
  • Washing, cleaning and storing all cooking appliances, utensils, cutting boards, dishes, etc.
  • Sweeping and mopping kitchen floors and wiping walls
  • Receiving, labeling, and storing deliveries of produce, meats, and key food ingredients items
  • Making adjustments to accommodate clients with specific diet and health concerns
  • Promptly responding to instructions and bringing meal ingredients from storage areas to the kitchen
  • Supporting counter staff during peak periods (order taking, restocking ingredients in displays, etc.)

Who You Are

  • Experience in using food service and managing customer orders
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to enjoy working with others
  • Keenness to follow instructions with a positive attitude and team mindset
  • Must be able to speak English and strong communication skills
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations regarding food preparation and storage
  • Basic understanding of how to use kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle pressure with professionalism & positive attitude
  • Hardworking, willingness to learn and motivated to grow & enhance your craft at Doraji

$16.55-$17.50 per hour
