Job Description:

• Shared Health Carlton Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 5R9, The University of Manitoba, and the Department of Pediatrics are looking for a Pediatric Gastroenterologist to help address the labor shortage in Manitoba.
• Key responsibilities involve diagnosing and treating diseases, prescribing medications, ordering lab tests and diagnostic procedures, and collaborating with other physicians as needed.
• The successful candidate may also qualify for an Assistant Professor position at the Max Rady College of Medicine, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, with job duties split between medical practice and academic contributions.
• Proficiency in English is a requirement.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must have a Doctor of Medicine Degree specializing in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
• Certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba are mandatory.
• Strong clinical and teaching skills are essential for undergraduate and postgraduate education, research, and patient care.

Compensation:

This role offers a compensation package combining fee-for-service earnings and additional stipends, with potential recruitment incentives for Specialty Physicians.
