  • The Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA) is looking for a committed and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Analyst to join the team in Yellowknife.
  • In this position, your main responsibilities will include overseeing financial monitoring, analysis, evaluation, and reporting on NTHSSA's programs and activities.
  • Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, you will be essential in providing accounting and financial support, ensuring compliance with the Financial Administration Act, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and departmental policies.
  • As a Financial Reporting Analyst, your role is vital in the Business Planning process, preparing funding submissions and decision papers that influence resource allocation within NTHSSA.
  • Handling around 10 to 15 requests for supplementary funding yearly, totaling approximately $20 million, your expertise will be crucial in securing resources for health and social services in the Northwest Territories.
  • Utilizing your auditing, financial planning, and database management skills, you will conduct in-depth analysis and reporting to assist in strategic decision-making and optimize resource distribution.
