Ndt Technician

Responsibilities:
- Inspect and test both work in progress and completed work for dimensions, welding and painting
- Perform final inspections of products ready to ship to the customer
- Mark defective parts, create NCRs and recommends scrapping or methods for reworking.
- Maintain records of inspection data, including the results of tests.
- Update the ERP system (Syteline) as required
- Followup on corrections and corrective actions
- Sandblasting of product before inspection
- Conduct testing of returned products from customers
- Work with Engineering on repair requirements for production
- Communicate with sales regarding status of repair/warranty of customer
- Some painting may be required
Education & Experience:
- Completed post secondary education in related field
- Interest in NDT Testing Certification
- Intermediate level skills in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)
- Previous experience with ERP software (Syteline) an asset
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints / drawings
- Working knowledge of welding inspection and related NDE methods (MT, PT, UT, and RT)
- Reliable and accountable to work unsupervised.
- Thrives in a fast paced challenging environment

- Flexible at prioritizing workload to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with a diverse group of people and ability to deal with challenging situations
