Role Summary:

The Class 3 Operator is responsible for operating water truck, gravel truck, and snowplow in a safe and appropriate manner. Class 3 Operators may be asked to operate equipment such as loaders, rock trucks, packers, and graders. The operator must also clean, maintain and secure all equipment as directed by legislation, as well as company policies and procedures. As an operator with Bouchier the bulk of your work will involve road maintenance activities.

Primary Responsibilities:

Operate all assigned equipment in a safe and effective manner Ability to get signed off on loader with bucket, forks, grapple and sweeper as well as load trucks and unload material, tram material, do minor ground repair, and sweep parking lots Ability to get signed off on rock trucks, haul gravel for road repair, haul bitumen to the dump and haul snow Ability to get signed off on packer, pack gravel on roads, pads, and do ground repair Ability to get signed off on water truck and water roads in the summer Ability to get signed off on snow plow and plow roads in the winter Read, countersign, and enter comments into daily operator logbook Complete and document a pre-operational check on assigned equipment Grease equipment as necessary Ensure all equipment has proper safety equipment in place Keep interior clean Any required repairs to assigned equipment are communicated to maintenance personnel Maintain a cooperative working relationship with customers and other employees Participate in Job Hazard Assessments, Feld Level Risk Assessments, and line-up meetings Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervision and Site Manager

Education & Experience:
