Customer Service Representative

Toronto, Ontario, Canada The Iceman Full time

Work Schedule:
Thursday to Saturday 11 am to 8 pm with the possibility of extra shifts during busier times

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers on the phone and in person by providing them with the appropriate Iceman product information
  • Take and process orders using the customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Process payments of customer invoices
  • Tactfully resolve customer service issues
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge of products, pricing and customer service policies
  • Other duties as required including assisting senior sales staff

Requirements:

  • Customer service experience preferably in an order taking role is required
  • Strong proficiency in the use of MS office and ability to quickly learn CRM software (experience using CRM software is an asset)
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Exceptional communication skills including the ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner
  • Ability to learn quickly and attention to detail are a must
  • Strong ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds

What We Offer

  • Even though this is a seasonal position, this could be an opportunity for individuals who are not students and perform well to move into a permanent position given our fast growing operation or to be rehired next year
  • For students who are consistent performers, this job could turn into a parttime position when you go back to school as a well as a regular summer job
  • If you fulfill your obligatory contract with the Iceman, you will receive a $1.00/hour accumulative bonus payout at the end of the 2023 season

Job Types:
Part-time, Seasonal

Contract length: 4 months

Part-time hours: 27 per week

Salary:
$20.00-$22.00 per hour
