Serecon provides services in a broad range of agriculture sectors including crop and livestock production, upstream industries like seed and fertilizer, and downstream industries like grain handling and food processing.
Our clients also include those sectors that support agriculture like government, industry associations, academic and research as well as litigation matters.
We are seeking a qualified applicant to work remotely supporting our Senior Consultant in Squamish, BC.Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Diploma in Agriculture, Economics, Business or Accounting
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Willingness to fill knowledge gaps regarding agriculture
- Note: We may consider other training backgrounds if the applicant is able to prove a foundation understanding of the concepts required for this role._
Other Qualifications:
- Experience with spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
- Experience working or studying natural resource economics, agriculture, trade or other fields that will demonstrate to the applicants ability to contribute
- Experience writing proposals, briefing notes or developing quality presentations
- Understanding of the role of sustainability in agricultural production/practices
