Bitnine ) is a database management system software vendor and data analysis solution provider operating in South Korea, Canada, Pakistan and the US.

We are looking for an eccentric and confident Pre-Sales Consultant. You will be primarily responsible for representing Bitnine's Graph DBMS software products and related services. You will be expected to provide technical consultancy to customers and prospects on DBMS and its solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong customer relationships and become the trusted adviser for the customer.
  • Conduct DBMS technical presentations to customers in an individual capacity or along with the sales team.
  • Lead develop proposals for customer projects, provide technical inputs for customer RFPs and take the lead role on ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Help out with the creation and verification of technical configurations for DBMS.
  • Conduct technical proofs of concept (POC) and where necessary be the advisor during the implementation and support stages of the sales cycle.
  • Participate in deep-dive discussions as well as be responsible for evaluating the customer's current and desired business and database needs.
  • Continuously build deep skill and leading-edge technology in the DBMS area and impact them to internal organization and customer.
  • Collaborate with partners to build market leading technical solutions.
  • Obtain customer feedback on DBMS and solutions and share it with the internal teams for continuous improvement in product quality.
  • Be responsible for conducting partner enablement webinars and have the ability to speak in external events, seminars, etc.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems or related field required, with minimum of 5-10 years' experience in pre-sales related roles and 5-10 years' experience in a IT area (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
  • Having working with Graph database would be a big plus.
  • Experience with programming, software development or IT pre-sales would be valuable , as would be familiar with BI solution , Python.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills and successful track record of supporting the closure of business with technical consultancy.
  • Successful track record of creating, presenting, and positioning databases, big data , BI and data warehouse experience in understanding of data tiering , Data Migrations.
  • Understanding software capabilities of vendor technologies experience in using consultative sales techniques and able to articulate the technical value proposition to the customer
  • Ability to work collaboratively with employees within the sales function and across functions including Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing and Product Development.
