You as a Storage and Backup Specialist:

  • MTTR planning including updates to Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans
  • Extensive experience in Storage Consolidation, Backup administration, testing, and verification of backups
  • Administer, maintain, troubleshoot, and support large complex multiplatform Storage environment that includes fiber channel SAN with multiple directors, servers, storage frames technologies, as well as enterprise backup technologies.
  • Architect, design and implement infrastructure solutions for server hosting, virtualization, storage area network, centralized backup, security, monitoring.
  • Manage monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, provisioning, and reporting for all storage subsystems.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve problems specifically on storage, backup and in general, cross platform environments.
  • Identify, define, and develop improvements to processes that support the infrastructure at all Core locations and Satellite office.
  • Prepare Implementation plan, rollback plan and test plan, risk, and impact analysis for critical or complex changes. Review the change plan and documentation prepared by level 2 engineers for peer review

his is the right role for you, if you have:

  • A University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 8 years of F/T industrylevel experience
  • Excellent communication skills, including an ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, interpersonal skills are essential.
