Provide quality assurance inspections and tests in support of and during all phases of power and mobile transformer manufacturing. Analyze data to determine systemic issues, develop action plans, and lead product and process improvement projects.

Main Responsibilities

  • Inspect inprocess manufacturing by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to the production supervisor and quality manager, to ensure products meet the standards.
  • Approves finished products (Power and Mobile transformers) by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for rework, and confirming rework.
  • Observe documents inspection results (DIR) by completing reports and logs and inputs data into a quality database (if required)
  • Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements and calling for repairs.
  • Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
  • Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Identify and record the nonconformity products or processes.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years experience as a QA/QC Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read blueprints and complex drawings.
  • Basic mechanical and electrical measurement tools.
  • Computer and office equipment
  • Demonstrate ability to lead crossfunctional teams to improve product quality and process efficiency.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detailorientated and able to work with mínimal supervision

Education and Experience

  • College diploma
  • Exposure to quality control techniques and processes.
  • Experience in using measuring devices such as tape measures, gauges, calipers, and other measuring instruments
  • Experience in power transformer manufacturing A PLUS
