The services we provide our clients in addition to 'nuts and bolts' civil and structural engineering include:
# Detailed design drawings and specifications
# Tender and contract administration
# Site plans, terrain models, and grading plans

Our experience in the delivery of professional engineering and related technical services and our approach to all of our engineering services can be summarized as follows:
We're a relatively small firm (of less than 20 employees) committed to the delivery of exceptional engineering services.

We know what we can do: We've taken on projects as small as can be imagined and other projects much larger than can be expected from a firm of our size.

We have complete confidence in our abilities but know our limitations so we collaborate with colleagues with expertise in other fields of engineering when required.

Projects will be a blend of both civil (primarily) and structural (secondary) work such as: potable water supply, sanitary and storm drainage systems, and industrial and residential subdivisions.

This position requires excellent communication skills with the ability to prepare clearly written correspondence, engineering reports and technical studies, and to communicate effectively face-to-face with clients.

You will be expected to work independently, and delegate engineering and drafting assignments to members of our team. You will also be expected to provide mentorship to the other staff including junior engineers and technologist.

This position includes working in a modern, well equipped consulting engineering office with the opportunity for occasional field work, including travel around beautiful central and northern British Columbia, and occasionally Alberta, Yukon, and Saskatchewan.

We are in particular need of a Senior Civil Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in:
# Civil engineering including the design of water, sanitary and storm, onsite wastewater systems, transportation, and lot development
# Preparation and checking of engineering calculations
# Management of individual project files
# Authoring and/or review of engineering reports
# Management and mentoring of junior engineering staff
# Occasional site visits
