HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

Gulf Operators Limited is a civil contractor experienced in all aspects of civil work including concrete work, excavation, water and sewer, as well as aggregate production and sales.

We are currently accepting applications for Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, loaders, trucks, and graders
  • Move, load, and grade earth, rock, gravel, and other materials
  • Conduct pre-operation inspection to ensure all systems are working properly, making sure the equipment is able to operate safely
  • Work and communicate openly with the team

We are looking for the following skill sets and experience:

  • 5+ years demonstrated experience operating heavy equipment
  • Experience operating excavators, dozers, and front-end loaders
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Valid Class 3 or Class 1 license will be considered an asset
  • Clean driver's abstract
  • Hardworking, self-starter and team player with a strong work ethic
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong safety mindset, with the ability to perform all duties with a high degree of safety consciousness
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
  • Willing and available to work flexible shifts
  • Reliable transportation to work sites
