Sales Specialist at Medline Industries, LP

Medline is seeking a skilled Sales Specialist who is passionate about establishing strong connections and can excel in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  • Subject matter expert on Skin Health solutions, focusing on increasing sales in independent accounts
    • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, product knowledge, and sales processes
    • Collaborate with sales reps, Market Sales Directors, and Clinical Services to enhance processes for targeted accounts, improving clinical outcomes and customer loyalty
    • Conduct research, analyze data, and perform cost assessments to enhance the value proposition for customers
    • Lead discussions on skin health programs in customer meetings
    • Conduct business reviews with accounts to identify avenues for profitability enhancement, increased Medline product utilization, and cost-saving opportunities
  • Coach & Training
    • Provide proactive feedback on sales strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability in each account
    • Mentor Sales Reps on Skin Health solutions and capabilities
    • Act as the go-to person for all skin health-related matters in the region
    • Promote customer empowerment by facilitating attendance at industry webinars, advisory boards, research initiatives, and conferences
  • Key Accounts (Grow & Protect)
    • Proactively target all tagged accounts within the region
    • Establish relationships with key external stakeholders and organizations
    • Develop business plans to achieve targeted growth in the region
    • Handle business reviews and follow-ups for targeted accounts, addressing customer needs
    • Provide insights on pricing, formulary recommendations, and contract structures for skin health
  • Analyze performance metrics with VPs and Skin Health Management
  • Create execution plans for corporate initiatives based on performance analysis
  • Schedule business reviews for key accounts in collaboration with MSDs
  • Set quarterly goals to achieve annual quotas and profitability targets for each group
Qualifications

Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of outside healthcare sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • Prior experience in wound care or related sales is advantageous
  • Proficiency in developing and delivering customer presentations

Travel

  • Availability for a minimum of 2 overnight stays per week in the multi-state territory

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in sales within assisted living, nursing homes, home health, or healthcare industry
  • Background in wound care or skin care product sales is a plus

  • Medline Industries, LP, along with its subsidiaries, provide a rewarding total compensation package, ongoing education and training opportunities, and considerable growth potential within a globally expanding organization. The anticipated annual compensation for this role ranges from $63,750 to $100,000 in guaranteed base salary with eligibility for bonuses. Medline ensures compliance with minimum wage regulations.
