Summary:


Our Facility Technician is tasked with performing varied duties to assist in maintaining, repairing, installing and troubleshooting CNG and facility equipment according to safety, rational, and productive maintenance systems.

This position reports directly to the Operations Supervisor.

The position plays a key role in supporting CNG delivery operations while providing overall technical assistance to the company and our customers.


Schedule:

  • This position provides a set shift schedule that allows you to get home each day or night
  • Some field visits will be required; however, this is a yard based role

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides support for repairs and maintenance of CNG equipment
  • Assists with facility maintenance workorders and related paperwork
  • Assists with the auditing & safety inspections of Compressor, CNG Trailers, Pressure Reduction Systems (PRS) and related equipment
  • Assists in preparing equipment for upcoming jobs, including prejob certifications
  • Remains current with all management of change installs and retrofits on pressure equipment
  • Assists on repairs and testing of demobilized pressure equipment for upcoming jobs
  • Ensures all repairs and OOS equipment is up to date in maintenance tracking systems
  • Complies with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

Requirements:

years of experience in a field technician role

  • Compressor operator license or willingness and ability to obtain it within 12 months of employment
  • Experience in Natural Gas equipment preferred: compression, power generation, industrial, etc. Production equipment, CNG equipment, field gas equipment or gas compression is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and an ability to deal diplomatically with a wide range of personalities
  • G2/G3 gasfitter is an asset
