What you'll do:
  • You will help establish short-term strategies, goals, and objectives for the store in alignment with the strategic plan.
  • You will coach and develop team members and team leaders, supporting the store manager in providing daily direction and guidance.
  • You will be involved in all aspects of the marketing, advertising, and merchandising plan for the store.
  • You will assist in maintaining customer satisfaction levels and identifying areas for enhancement.
  • You will participate as a member of the safety committee, ensuring adherence to all safety, maintenance, and asset protection policies.
  • You will acquire the necessary knowledge to analyze budgeted sales and expenses through various reports.

Who you are:

You are seeking a career in Retail Store Operations and:

  • You hold a Grade 12 Diploma.
  • You have 3+ years of experience in a retail environment, with Food Store Management expertise being advantageous (a mix of relevant education and experience will be considered).
  • You possess the ability to build relationships with internal and external customers on complex matters.
  • You have experience in coaching and providing constructive feedback to team members.
  • You can manage operational costs, enhance operational efficiency, and boost sales and profit margins.
