An established Industrial supplier company located in Windsor, Ontario, is currently in search of a Procurement Agent to become part of their team. The ideal candidate should possess 1 to 3 years of experience in vendor/supplier management and industrial procurement, including internships. This is a full-time onsite position that offers excellent benefits and relocation assistance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain positive relationships with manufacturer clients and vendors.
  • Research and collaborate with new/existing vendors to create a procurement plan for requested supplies.
  • Analyze market prices of materials from various suppliers based on quality and shipping costs.
  • Coordinate with other departments on order specifications to avoid customer complaints or delays.
  • Review order progress reports and provide recommendations to prevent delays or issues.
  • Prepare status reports for management and propose plans to boost sales of products.
  • Perform any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of supply chain coordination or purchasing experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or related fields.
  • Experience in local and international vendor/supplier management.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • No restrictions on travel to US facilities.
  • Familiarity with ERP software such as MS Dynamics, SAP, AS400, etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to adapt, collaborate effectively, and work efficiently in a diverse environment.
  • Capable of multitasking and managing time effectively.
  • Strong team player, detail-oriented, responsible, punctual, and self-motivated.
