Job Description'This role is field-based, and candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city.'
The Immunology Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) will collaborate with different AbbVie cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful development of area marketing strategy and execution. This role will involve developing and optimizing national and regional marketing initiatives and ensuring alignment with Annual Strategic Brand Plans.
The RMM will represent the AbbVie Marketing team with External Experts, creating and maintaining interactions to gather insights within assigned geographies. Additionally, the RMM will work within a team environment to enhance brand performance across AbbVie Immunology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects compliantly through the promotional review process to deliver high-quality work on time
- Manage strategy, execution, and budgeting for national and regional conventions, External Expert consulting, advisory boards, and peer-to-peer education
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing tactics and provide strategic recommendations to enhance brand performance
- Collaborate with field leadership to optimize marketing strategy implementation
- Understand market drivers, competitive landscape, and provider dynamics
- Coordinate with external vendors and internal departments to ensure project delivery
Thought Leader Engagement:
- Build relationships with External Experts and relevant associations within the assigned geography
- Develop engagement plans and ensure consistent execution throughout the year
- Connect with internal and external stakeholders for collaboration opportunities
Key Skills

- Knowledge of regulations affecting Pharmaceutical Products
Additional Information:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 2+ years of experience in Immunology preferred
- Previous experience in Gastroenterology is a plus
- Travel up to 60% of the time
This role can be hired as a G18 or G19 depending on experience level.
