Department Overview:

The GAML Program is designed to meet our obligations to prevent, detect and report money laundering, terrorist financing and other illicit activities, in order to manage AML risk in an integrated manner across products, business lines and geographies, meet regulatory obligations and expectations and mitigate legal, financial, compliance and reputational risk in the most effective manner possible.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Business Information Management Specialist to work on our Anti Money Laundering(AML)/financial crime data management initiatives. The successful candidate will be part of a team, responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust data management processes to support our anti-money laundering (AML) programs. This role requires excellent experience in advanced analytics, data governance best practices, and data quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the design and implementing robust data models and data mappings to capture AML related data from various sources.
  • Implementation of data quality controls, data lineage, and metadata management processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between data management initiatives and business objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, computer science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in SQL data analysis.
  • Strong communications and technical documentation skills.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working in Financial Institutions.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks, data modeling, and data quality management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with implementation of Transaction Monitoring for AML.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to mentor and develop team members.
