This position is located in the friendly community of Trail, nestled in the picturesque West Kootenay region of southeastern British Columbia. Surrounded by nature, Trail offers a variety of outdoor activities like biking, skiing, fishing, and hiking, catering to all preferences.

Trail Operations is a comprehensive lead-zinc smelting and refining facility based in Southeastern BC. With over 26 operational plants, it processes materials from across the globe to deliver more than 290,000 TPY of refined zinc and 70,000 TPY of refined lead.

As a Journeyperson Steamfitter-Pipefitter reporting to the Group Leader, your responsibilities will include the following:

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a safety champion, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and fabrication of various piping systems
Qualifications:
  • Hold an Inter-Provincial Red Seal Endorsement (Steamfitter-Pipefitter)
  • Possess a valid B ticket gas certification
  • Prior industrial maintenance experience is advantageous
  • Holding a valid A ticket gas certification is beneficial
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems is a plus
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have a valid driver's license

Salary Range: $49.77 per hour
