Journeyperson / Apprentice Heavy Equipment

The majority of work will be done in a shop in Nisku. Every other week you will be required to travel to site for ~3 days.

While working out of town, you will be using a company vehicle, LOA will be paid by the employer, and an out of town premium will be added to your wage.


Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work overtime (weekends or extended hours during week days)
  • Able to travel and work out of town
  • Able to plan and schedule work
  • Clean drivers abstract
  • Must have a strong personal safety culture and an excellent safety record
  • Able to follow company HSE, Vehicle, Environmental, and COVID19 Guidelines

Experience and Assets

  • Previous training/certifications such as, Forklift, Loader, Skidsteer, Elevated Work Platform, Fall Protection, etc.
  • Previous experience operating out of a field service tuck
  • Familiar with Caterpillar/JCB skidsteers, loaders, and telehandlers
  • Familiar with diesel welders, air compressors, light towers, and generators
  • RT crane and tower crane experience
  • Welding experience
