Dishwasher Responsibilities:


The primary purpose of the Dishwasher is to provide kitchen and serving staff with clean, sanitized dishes and small wares.


  • Proper care and use of chemicals
  • Operate and maintain the dish washing machine
  • Follow proper dishwashing procedures
  • Ensure proper garbage disposal
  • Check and safely maintain chemical levels
  • Regularly check the sanitizer levels
  • Put dishes away
  • Ensure proper handling of dishes to avoid breakage and soiling
  • Assist with cleaning up breakage and spillage, disposing materials safely (ie: broken glasses)
  • Some level of food preparation as needed
