Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Etobicoke, ON.

Title: Security Guard

Location: Etobicoke, ON

Payrate: $16.55/HR-$18.08/HR

Schedule: Saturday-Sunday 08:00-16:00

Saturday-Sunday 16:00-00:00

Overview:

Allied Universal is seeking experienced Security Guards to work in Etobicoke, ON. The ideal candidate is a seasoned guard with excellent communication skills, willing to work rotational shifts, and able to work in a dynamic security team. If you have experience as a Security Guard, enjoy patrolling, and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in security.
  • Open availability for rotational shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • G Licence and Clear Driver's Abstract
  • Must be at least 25 years old due to company insurance requirements on vehicles
  • Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
  • Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
  • First Aid and CPR
  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.

Responsibilities:

  • Access Control, Patrolling
  • Communicate with stakeholders, including site management and security personnel, in a professional manner.
  • Address and manage security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Coordinating with other team leads to ensure seamless shift transitions and consistent security coverage.
  • Perform regular patrols and site checks to maintain security standards.
  • Manage and oversee shift scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage for day and night shifts.
