Recharge & Play Wellness Café is focused on providing something for the entire family: fun for the kids & relaxation for the parents.


The Playground Attendant is responsible for ensuring the playground is ready for events including camps, playtimes, birthday parties & childminding.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervising children & families in attendance and keeping a safe, fun environment
  • Clean & sanitize the facility during & after playground bookings
  • Organize & return supplies to proper storage areas after use
  • Keep accurate cleaning logs
  • Maintain open communication with owners and other staff members
  • Contacting guests regarding booking, protocols & invoicing
  • Ensuring public safety protocols are followed

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • CPR Level C certified
  • Current vulnerable sector report
  • Education within Child & Youth Sectors, Education, Early Childhood Education or related field encouraged but not required

Skills:

  • Ability to work efficiently
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Outgoing personality
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Enthusiasm and passion for interacting with children of all ages and abilities
  • Basic computer skills as scheduling, clockins & bookings are all in electronic format

Position is currently part time leading to more hours as business needs require (daytime availability a plus). Hour expectation is currently 10-20 hrs per week.
