We produce cleaning and finishing products for the building maintenance and transit/automotive sectors. Our warehouse is in Montreal (Saint-Laurent) easily accessible by public transportation and plenty of parking available.

Warehouse and manufacturing associate:

- Operate small mobile equipment (forklift, frontend loader, etc.)
- Receive raw material in different formats
- Classify raw material
- Store raw material according to a classification on warehouse racks
- Receive and fill client orders
- Assemble customer orders on palettes and prepare for shipment
- Material usage planning and logistics coordination
- Participate in the production and packaging operations
- Monitor and improve the efficiency, output and safety of warehouse processes through observations and measurements as well as by collecting and interpreting data
- Optimize use of space and equipment
- Assist in developing plant layout in planning rearrangement of facilities, equipment and operations for better utilization of space and to increase capacities.
- Oversee maintenance, cleanliness, and repairs of facilities and equipment
- Willing to learn about the evolving industry of chemical manufacturing
- Perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
English required, French an asset

Post-secondary education

Highly organized and self-motivated individual who can work independently

Must have strong leadership skills and problem solving abilities

Excellent oral communication skills

Ability to perform risk assessment of processes and develop corrective measures

Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations

Computer literacy not required

Ability to take initiative, meet deadlines

Physical requirements in lifting boxes and pails over 40 lb

Must be hands-on, team oriented and committed to business improvement processes

Associé d'entrepôt et de fabrication:

- Opérer de petits équipements mobiles (chariot élévateur, transpallette, etc.)
- Recevoir la matière première sous différents formats
- Classer la matière première
- Stocker la matière première selon une classification sur les racking de l'entrepôt
- Réceptionner et exécuter les commandes des clients
- Assembler les commandes des clients sur des palettes et préparer l'expédition
- Planification de l'utilisation des matériaux et coordination logistique
- Participer aux opérations de production et de conditionnement
- Surveiller et améliorer l'efficacité, le rendement et la sécurité des processus d'entrepôt grâce à des observations et des mesures ainsi qu'en collectant et en interprétant des données
- Optimiser l'utilisation de l'espace et des équipements
- Aider à développer l'aménagement de l'usine en planifiant le réaménagement des installations, de l'équipement et des opérations pour une meilleure utilisation de l'espace et pour augmenter les capacités.
- Superviser l'entretien, la propreté et les réparations des installations et des équipements
- Désireux d'en apprendre davantage sur l'évolution de l'industrie de la fabrication de produits chimiques
- Effectuer toutes autres tâches assignées

Qualifications:
Anglais requis, français un atout
