Project Coordinator

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Fence Masters Inc. Full time

Responsibilities:

  • Review Shop Drawings and design pages of contracts
  • Translate contracts into material orders
  • Create purchase orders, order materials, and arrange to ship with suppliers
  • Research and purchase materials and equipment prior to purchase
  • Schedule material packing and delivery with the yard
  • Schedule crews onsite work, starting excavation to the building as well as scheduling for deficiency correction.
  • Order and organize shop drawings with contract designer and operations manager
  • Review invoices submitted from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Effectively coordinate locates
  • Track, Update and organize filling/tracking system (Zoho Deals)
  • Provide quotes for and manage change orders based on crew reports.
  • Contact clients regarding completion status and payment when necessary
  • Take part in all meetings; Monday(Sales), Wednesday(Contract Review), Friday(Company Progress)
  • Other tasks as assigned by Managers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction or Business Related field is an asset.
  • Valid Drivers License
  • At least One (1) year of experience working in a similar role is an asset.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite ( Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability and willingness to take on incremental amounts of responsibility on the job.

Salary:
$23.00-$28.00 per hour

Program Management Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
