Directs the manufacturing operation of multiple sites. Formulate, manage and achieve short and long-term operating objectives in areas such as safety & quality performance, cost management, efficiency improvements and overall customer services while promoting a culture of positive employee engagement and continuous improvement.

:

  • Oversees day to day plant operations, identifying problems and develops and implements corrective and preventive measures.
  • Ensure product quality meets or exceeds established standards and compliance with industry standards
  • Promotes safety by ensuring that safety programs, procedures and processes are followed, conducts audits, and participates in safety team meetings, holds team responsible for safety in their respective areas.
  • Manage plant budget and expenses to fall within, or better than plan.
Manage all plant variances to meet or exceed plan including but not limited to:
headcount, overtime and spending.

  • Provide leadership for effective employee engagement through positive communication, coaching, training, problem resolution/corrective actions, and floor time.
  • Establish and maintain supervisor/lead development programs to ensure bench strength of leadership team for advancement opportunities.
  • Develop production plan to align with sales forecast, demand variation. Ensure strong costtosales alignment to drive financials.
  • Lead and teach lean manufacturing principles and visual factory focus.
  • Drive the Manufacturing 4.0 initiatives as part of our operating culture

REQUIREMENTS

:

  • BS/BA in business, industrial management or engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years manufacturing mgt. experience.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to lead organizational change initiatives.
  • Proven ability to train, supervise and develop staff.
  • Demonstrated understanding of budgeting and cost management.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.
  • A3-PDCA and other rootcause analysis tools including Manufacturing 4.0
  • Lean Manufacturing foundation
