Description du poste :

En collaboration avec les responsables barmans, le titulaire du poste est responsable de répondre aux clients, d'effectuer la prise de commande des repas et des boissons ainsi que de procéder au service des mets et boissons. Il s'assure du bon déroulement du service tout au long de son quart de travail, ainsi que de prendre en charge lorsque nécessaire le service aux chambres.

Tâches et responsabilités

  • Met en place la salle à manger avant le début du service ;
  • Accueille les clients, explique les mets et boissons offerts au menu et conseille les clients dans leur choix;
  • Prend et transmet les commandes à la cuisine et au bar ;
  • Sert les plats commandés lorsqu'ils sont prêts ;
  • Prépare et présente les additions aux clients et perçoit les paiements ;
  • Veille à l'approvisionnement et à la propreté générale des espaces de service communs;
  • Lave, astique et range les verres et ustensiles ;
  • Toutes autres tâches connexes.

Compétences et aptitudes requises

  • Passion pour le service à la clientèle et la vente ;
  • Attitudes et comportements professionnels (aptitudes pour le travail d'équipe, autonomie, dynamisme, entregent, honnêteté, polyvalence, sens de l'organisation et de l'initiative) ;
  • Rapidité d'exécution et tolérance au travail sous pression.
Description du profil :

Exigences professionnelles

  • Posséder un minimum d'un à deux ans d'expérience en restauration (gastronomique un atout) ;
  • Bilinguisme (anglais et français) ;
  • Avoir l'âge légal pour effectuer le service de boissons alcoolisées.
