Job Summary

As a Laboratory Clerk for our Sample Processing team located in Senneville , you will mainly be responsible for sample preparation, retrieving all specimens and transport them in a timely manner to the laboratory.

Your success will ensure the smooth running of our research, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

In this role, primary responsibilities include:
Prepares the required material for the study conduct according to information received and keep a functional inventory of the required material
Conduct the preparation and the distribution of biological samples
Perform the filing, archiving, transfer, or disposal of material
Printing and labelling of samples (blood, urine, etc.)
Retrieving and transportation of collected samples to the appropriate laboratory
Key Elements
If you possess the following qualifications , we will train you in the rest:
High School diploma or equivalent
Passion for science
Good attention to details
Able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.)
Understanding of written English is mandatory. Bilingualism French and English is preferable

Location:
Senneville / Free parking / Free shuttle service from the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site

Salary:
$16.25/hrs

Annual bonus based on performance

Premiums:
Weekends: $2.75/hrs

Overtime :
Time and a half

Schedule:
Weekdays, between Monday to Friday. Depending on the needs, you may have to do overtime on weekends
Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week

About Safety Assessment

Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance.

From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market.
