Fill Plant Operator - D License

Location:
GasPro - Toronto Ontario (North York)

Full-time Permanent Position (Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:00pm)

In the role of a Fill Plant Operator (D License required), you will be responsible for the safe and efficient preparation and distribution of Oxygen cylinders.

You will work independently as well as with a larger team to prepare and fill oxygen cylinders for distribution. This role will also load, deliver, and unload product to our ProResp office locations on dedicated day runs. Approximately 80% driving, 20% fill plant operation.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Safe and efficient supply distribution of Oxygen cylinders
  • Process, fill, and maintain equipment in the process of filling oxygen cylinders of various size and weight.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of products and distribution
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Perform inventory control of products
  • Conduct required safety checks and ensure maintenance of company vehicle in accordance with established corporate practices.
  • Must adhere to the regulations regarding the handling, offering for transport and transporting of dangerous goods and maintains a valid TDG certificate as provided by the company

Role Requirements:

  • Valid D Driver's License with satisfactory driving record and 3yrs driving experience with a full class license.
  • Professional and effective customer service skills
  • Proven ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment (lifting up to 60lbs on regular basis). The nature of this role requires that you successfully complete a preplacement Functional Assessment test as a condition of employment to ensure that you can meet these essential duties of the role.

Education:
Secondary school graduate at minimum.
