Key Responsibilities
- Perform intricate pension calculations and technical analysis for D.A. Townley-administered plans.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of pension payments, lump sums, and transfers with financial statements.
- Determine eligibility for transfer deficiency payments and handle related inquiries.
- Calculate pension adjustments and prepare necessary reports in compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate annual cost of living adjustments and assist in actuarial valuations.
- Support the Pension Administrator with trustee meeting preparations and administrative tasks.
- Stay informed about pension regulations, policies, and industry best practices through continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Sciences or equivalent field, alongside strong proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in actuarial or pension administration roles with a focus on complex calculations.
- Demonstrated mathematical and critical thinking skills essential for problem-solving in this domain.
