onsemi 's Assembly Test Operations site in Burlington, ON, Canada is growing, and we are currently hiring full-time day
- and afternoon-shift Operators to join our talented Test Assembly Team. No experience is necessary, we will provide the training on the job.


As an Assembly Test Operator, you will be a necessary member of a team that works on the exciting process that converts batches of blank silicon wafers (called wafer lots) into carriers for completed integrated circuits.

At our Burlington site, our Operators work with the completed carriers to test and assemble them in order to get them out and into the world as soon as possible

We offer flexible shifts, and excellent training. No experience required to be a part of the global effort at ON Semiconductor to create high-tech products that enhance people's lives

Your day to day as an Operator will consist of the following:

  • Performing specific back-end semiconductor manufacturing functions that are integral to the production of semiconductor devices.
  • Operating various equipment in order to perform the following functions: material preparation, process setup, solder printing, component attach, wirebond, encapsulation, dicing, electrical test operation, documentation completion, data entry, process monitoring, and inspections.
  • Performing and supporting device assembly and test operations as assigned
  • Working a shift schedule (8 hour shifts, either during the day or the afternoon), and having the flexibility to change shift assignments from time to time as needed
  • Executing tasks and assignments in a timely and effective matter
  • Performing inprocess inspections, SPC data entry and MES transactions
